INTRODUCTION
Hi! My name is Sergey Skudaev. I live in US since 1991. Originally, I am from Russia. I want to say that education in Russia, at least in my time (I attended school from 1959 to 1969 and University from 1969 to 1974) was not bad. From grade 6, we started physics, algebra and geometry. From grade 7, we had chemistry. So we had 4 years of algebra and geometry, 4 years of physics and 3 years of chemistry.
When I was admitted to BMCC in Manhattan, I could pass all algebra exams and right away start from Calculus. Thanks to high school education in Russia, I could skip all algebra courses and save a lot of time and money. I always was good in math, physics and chemistry. I have 11 years of teaching experience in Irkutsk State University, where I taught general physiology and neurophysiology. In US, I taught a programming in Visual Basic in a private computer school in Brooklyn.
I have a habit to explain hard stuff easyly and decided to create this web site to help students to learn math, chemistry, and maybe something else. I just started.
So far, I created exercises for algebra. Chemistry will go next.
